Paul Marquez and Hope Schenk-de Michele are creative producers and writing partners. Their passion for science fiction and fantasy has led them to create and write their first long form – literary endeavor, a trilogy series titled: Book of Shadows. Book one titled, Daughter of Shadows. The trilogy follows the lives of Satan who uses the name, Lucifer Trompe and his forever young and beautiful daughter Lucinda, as she secretly tries to protect mankind against her father’s evil plan of turning man against man thus igniting the final war that will annihilate mankind forever.
Over the course of Paul’s career, he has held the position of president at Paloma Productions, a Spanish language television and film Production Company, as well as executive vice president of operations for Wilshire Court Productions (a Viacom television production company)
Hope Schenk-de Michele
Over the course of Hope’s career, she has held various positions in the entertainment industry eventually becoming an entrepreneur and owning Post Solutions, a multi-million dollar full service post-production facility. Hope previously owned Electronic Location Productions, a mobile television production facility and Command Concepts, a full service-advertising agency.
As producing partners, Hope and Paul collaborated and produced such titles as Bloody Proof and El Grito, a dual language, straight-to-video detective film shot in English and in Spanish and Humphrey the Bear for Galavision. They also produced the 2001 Imagine Awards, 200 episodes of the syndicated home improvement television show Home Magazine and others.
Paul and Hope also developed an board game for the young adult market titled ‘SPIN, SKIN and Win’ which is currently being developed for television. They are also developing an Urban Fantasy called Lilith and a Fantasy Drama titled Christina for television.
Both Hope and Paul are members of Los Angeles Science Fiction Fantasy Society (LASFS), The International Thriller Writers (IEW), The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and The Authors Guild.
Paul Marquez presently works for Sony Pictures Television as a Production Finance Executive. Hope continues her career in television and film, writing in Southern California, where she lives with her husband of 25 years.
